Bangabandhu Gold Cup Inter University Football Tournament kicked off today BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) beat City University by 6-1 goals in the the opening game of Bangabandhu Gold Cup Inter University Football Tournament 2019.

Former Bangladesh National Football Team striker Rokonuzzaman Kanchan, coach of BUFT was very confident with his team as they had their home advantage.
BUFT dominated the whole game as they plundered the City University defense with 6 goals.
Ahad scored a fantastic hat-trick for BUFT, while Shipu scored two and captain Leen packed one goal in their pockets.
BUFT will face Manarat University in their next group stage match on 19th December.
18 Universities are participating in this Bangabandhu Gold Cup Inter University Football Tournament 2019 in 4 groups. The teams are BUFT, Fareast University, BUTEX, ULAB, Daffodils International University, Sher e Bangla Agriculture University, IUBAT, Uttara University, Northern University, Eastern University, Shato Mariam University of Creative & Technology, Asia University, World University, Green University, International University of Bangladesh, City University, Presidency University, and Manarat University.
