4:34 pm

Windies require another 285 runs to win the match on day 5. They have already lost 3 wickets, all of them picked up by all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

Miraz, after bagging hundred and 4 wickets in first innings, picked up another 3 wickets to make it even more his Test.

Windies were in big trouble when they were 3 down for 59. Kyle Mayers and Nkrumah Bonner built an unbeaten 51-run partnership to safely play through the day.

Miraz gave away 52 runs for his 3 wickets. Taijul despite remaining wicketless bowled pretty well to create pressure from the other end.

Tigers will be eying to wrap the match tomorrow morning. A lot will depend on the spinners.

1:30 pm

Bangladesh have declared on 223/8 as they have a mammoth lead of 394 runs. Windies will come to bat needing 395 runs in fourth innings.

Tigers lost quick wickets soon after the Mominul-Liton partnership was broken and the declaration was on the cards.

For Windies, Cornwall and Warrican picked up 3 wickets each.

1:15 pm

Mominul Haque and Liton Kumar Das both departed soon after the skipper reached his 10th Test hundred.

Liton was the first one to go as he tried to reverse sweep and caught at point. He bagged 69 off 112 balls before departing.

Mominul started to accelerate but couldn't continue. He was caught at deep square leg. He middled it alright but didn't have enough power to take it all the way. A brilliant knock from the skipper comes to an end.

Bangladesh now leading by 387 runs.

12:50 pm

Mominul Islam bagged his 10th Test hundred, 7th at this venue in Chattogram. He pushes it to cover and completes the hundred. Off comes the helmet as he acknowledges the milestone.

He has now scored the most hundreds by a Bangladeshi in Test cricket leaving Tamim Iqbal behind.

He has scored 100 runs off 173 balls.

Liton Kumar Das has also played a vital knock. He is going strong on 62 off 100 deliveries.

Bangladesh currently leading by 361 runs. This partnership has already added 117 runs.

Now maybe the time to accelerate a bit and think of a declaration.

11: 32 am

Bangladesh had a very good morning session on day 4. They lost only one wicket and added 102 runs more to their overnight score, and the only scare came when Mushfiqur Rahim fell to Rahkeem Cornwall.

Jomel Warrican has posed a few threats to Liton Das, but he, alongside the captain Mominul Haque, are working Bangladesh into a position from where they can dictate terms through the rest of this Test match.

Mominul Haque's astonishing Chattogram record is about to ger better with yet another Test hundred. Skipper is only 17 runs away from his 10th Test hundred.

Bangladesh currently leading 320 runs with 6 wickets in hand. They would look to take it to around 360-370 and declare so that they can wrap up the Test match comfortably.

11:15 am

Skipper Mominul Haque's second innings fifty has put Bangladesh in a more comfortable position on day 4.

Skipper Mominul Haque picked up his fifty and now batting at 74 with his partner Liton Kumar Das on 31.

The only wicket to fall in the morning session so far is Mushfiqur Rahim who was trapped LBW to Rakheem Cornwall after scoring 18.

Tigers currently leading by 302 runs which Taijul Islam believed yesterday should be more than enough to defend against this Windies side.

Bangladesh finished day 3 on 47/3 with a lead of 218 runs. They scored 430 in the first innings and bowled Windies out for 259 runs.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz after bagging his maiden Test hundred picked up 4 wickets with the ball.
