BCB wants Sri Lanka tour to happen as soon as possible
As many as five bilateral series involving Bangladesh have been postponed due to Covid-19. The fate of Asia Cup and T20 World Cup is no different. Therefore, there seems to be no cricket for Bangladesh in the near future. Probably that's why BCB wants Sri Lanka tour to happen soon. But it's SLC that has to decide the time.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board wants to hold the remaining rounds of Dhaka Premier League (DPL) before the ongoing season comes to an end. The board has also decided to send the national team to Sri Lanka. The highest cricketing governing body of the country has taken the decision in order to resume DPL as soon as the situation improves. But everything rests on the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC).

Nizam Uddin Chowdhury, the CEO of BCB, said on Thursday, "We will try to have our international commitments in this year completed quickly as we have the domestic season to complete. We want the domestic season to resume soon. But it has to start at first and we will handle things practically."
