The Bangladesh cricket team will tour Zimbabwe in June-July after eight long years. The two teams were scheduled to play two Tests, three ODIs and two T20Is in the series.
However, the two boards have reduced a test by negotiation increasing a T20I.
Tests have been reduced at the request of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).
According to the new decision, Bangladesh will play one Test, three ODIs and three T20s in Zimbabwe.
The matter has been confirmed by Akram Khan, chairman of the cricket management department of the BCB.
On Tuesday, Akram Khan said, "We have decided to reduce one Test and increase one T20I. Zimbabwe has also supported our proposal. "
The BCB has decided to go to Zimbabwe a week after the Dhaka Premier League, considering the rest of the players.
The Dhaka Premier League will start on May 31 in T20 format. It will continue till June 24.
After a few days rest, Bangladesh will leave for Zimbabwe on June 29.
The only Test match will start on July 8.
