Nepal Football team arrived in the capital last Thursday (Nov 5) by special chattered flight to play two FIFA International Football Series with hosts Bangladesh on November 13 and 17 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here.

Bangladesh-Nepal friendlies to be styled 'Mujib Borsho Fifa International Football Series'

The two Fifa International friendlies between Bangladesh and Nepal will be held under the banner of "Mujib Borsho FIFA International Football Series 2020", marking the Bangabandhu birth centenary.

Nepal Football team arrived in the capital last Thursday (Nov 5) by special chattered flight to play two FIFA International Football Series with hosts Bangladesh on November 13 and 17 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here.

Both the matches will kick-off at 5 pm (Bangladesh time) with some 8,000 fans is likely to be allowed to witness the match at the stadium following the health guideline.

With the match, Bangladesh is going to return in the international football after about ten months.  
President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin disclosed these at a press conference at the BFF office on Sunday.

BFF senior vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy MP, vice presidents Kazi Nabil Ahmed MP and Mohiuddin Mahi,  and BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag, among others, were present on the occasion.

Addressing the newsmen, BFF boss said, "Our prime target is to return football in the ground, and we want to achieve our first target through the FIFA matches against Nepal.

"Our booters were out of football since last March, now they are making their practices with a strong coaching staffs to do a better result".Salahuddin added.
Two categories of tickets will be released for the two-match series with VIP ticket costing Tk 500 and gallery tickets Tk 100 each.

State owned Bangladesh Television will telecast both the matches live while Bangladesh Beter will broadcast the running commentary of the matches.

The British Head Coach of Bangladesh National Football team Jamie Day accompanied by team's Assistant coach Stuart Watkiss and newly appointed goalkeeping coach Les Cleevely and other coaching staffs conducting the training session of Bangladesh team ahead of series against Nepal.

The Denmark-based captain of Bangladesh national football team Jamal Bhuiyan also in  Dhaka for the matches.
