Bangladesh-India match under cyclonic threat
The match is scheduled to be held at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot on November 7.
After the first T20 match of Bangladesh against India was subjected to air pollution in New Delhi, the second match is under threat by cyclonic storm Maha.
The Indian Meteorological Department informed Maha is currently over north central Arabian Sea and is expected to move slightly westward before curving back towards India and hitting the Gujarat coast late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.
As a result, heavy downpour is expected in Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Mumbai, among other areas from Wednesday.
However, by the time Maha hits Gujarat, it will have weakened to severe cyclonic storm bringing winds of 100-110 kmph.
The match is scheduled to be held at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot on November 7.
