Bangladesh footballers rewarded BDT 10 lakh after Nepal win
The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has announced a prize money of BDT 10 lakh after the win.
Football has returned to Bangladesh through the 'Mujib Borsho International friendly series' after a long hiatus of ten months. In the first match of the series at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on Friday, Bangladesh defeated Nepal, a team ranked higher than the home side by 2-0 courtesy goals from Nabib Newaz Ziban and Mahbubur Rahman Sufil. The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has announced a prize money of BDT 10 lakh after the win.
Kazi Nabil Ahmed, the vice president of the BFF and chairman of the national team committee, said, "BFF president (Kazi Salahuddin) is very delighted with the performance. He has congratulated everyone and encouraged them to do well in the next game as well. He has announced a prize money of BDT 10 lakh."
The next match between the two sides will be held on November 17.
