Bristi of Bangladesh Police was adjudged the player of the tournament while Smriti of Ansar was named the best player of the final.

Bangladesh Ansar clinch National Women’s Kabaddi title

Bangladesh Ansar won the Mujib Borsho National Women's Kabaddi title, dethroning holders Bangladesh Police by 22-16 points in the final at National Kabaddi Stadium on Wednesday.

The winners led the first half by 10-8 points.

Bristi of Bangladesh Police was adjudged the player of the tournament while Smriti of Ansar was named the best player of the final.

Secretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports M Akhter Hossain was the chief guest at the event and handed over the trophy to the champions Bangladesh Ansar.

Secretary of National Sports Council M Masud Karim, President of Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation (BKF) Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun and BKF General Secretary Habibur Rahman were also present to distribute the other prizes.
