Asjad Iqbal of Pakistan defeated his compatriot Md Bilaal in a dramatic final to win the Sheikh Kamal Memorial 1st Saarc Snooker Championship in Dhaka Club on Friday.
Asjad started the match with a lead but Bilaal was hot on his trail and at one point the score was 3-3.
From there however, Asjad took the next three frames to make it 6-3.
But Bilaal fought back to once again make it even at 6-6.
In the deciding 13th frame, Asjad made the initial break of 46 to take the lead, but Bilaal caught up to him once again.
In the end though, it was not enough as Asjad held his nerve to win a thrilling encounter.
