Ansar & VDP clinch National Women’s Handball title
Alpona Akhter of the champions Ansar & VDP was adjudged best player of the tournament.
Bangladesh Ansar & VDP clinched the Bangabandhu 30th National Women's Handball title beating BJMC by 33-25 goals in the final at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium here on Tuesday.
The winners led the first half by 16-11 goals. Khadiza scored eleven goals for the champions while Shilpli Akhter netted eight goals for the runners up BJMC.

Parliament member and cultural personality Asaduzzaman Noor was the Chief Guest at the day's final and later he distributed the prizes.
Vice President of the Exim Bank Corporate Affairs and Branding Division Sanjib Chaterjee, President and general secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul and Asaduzzaman Kohinoor were also present at the occasion.
Earlier, in a place deciding match, Jamalpur District finished 3rd beating Naogaon District by 35-19 goals after dominating the first session by 17-9 goals at the same venue.
