Rafiath Rashid Mithila and her daughter Ayra are ready to entertain the young readers with their new adventure book.

The book titled "Ayra aar Maaer Obhijaan" will explore the travels and adventures of Mithila and her daughter Ayra.

"Ayra aar Maaer Obhijaan" will be released in series. The first installment of the series is called "Tanzania Dipe". The book will showcase the strong bond between the mother and the daughter.

Popular actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila talked with The Business Standard about the book.

The actress said, "My job requires me to travel to different countries across the world. My daughter has been travelling with me since she was two-three years old. Ayra visited Tanzania with me when she was only four years old. This book talks about those adventures."

The noted actress emphasised on her passion for her profession.

"I am the Head of the Early Childhood Development Programme at BRAC International. My job requires me to spend a lot of time with children. As I have completed my masters and currently doing my PhD on Early Childhood Development Programme, my goal is to work for children and parents," the actress added.

Apart from her job and acting, the young actress prefers to write and has already published a few books.

Mithila said, "This book will really help children. We have shared our mother- daughter stories with other parents through this book. This adventure book also consists of great illustrations which will surely attract the young readers."

The main protagonists of the story are Mithila and her daughter Ayra. The characters have been drawn resembling their appearance. The illustrations have been drawn by another BRAC employee Mohimenul Rakib.
