Drunk-naked Bangladeshi tourist climbs onto Buddhist shrine, expressing outrage at locals in Thailand
Police eventually arrived to detain Haque and escorted her to the nearby Suan Prung Psychiatric Hospital to sober up before being assessed by doctors
A drunk female tourist has sparked outrage after stripping off and climbing on to a Buddhist shrine before chanting, ranting and swearing with a can of beer in hand.
Bangaldeshi citizen Farah Haque, 28, was caught on camera as she clambered up to the religious site in northern Thailand, yesterday evening, reports Daily Mail.
She shouted abuse at passersby before police came to escort her to the nearby Suan Prung Psychiatric Hospital to sober up before being assessed by doctors.
In a video captured by anonymous, Haque was seen perched naked on a handrail while waving her arms wildly in the air and swigging from a can of Chang beer.
She repeatedly shouts 'chok dee motherf***ers' - chok dee meaning 'cheers' in Thai - and can be heard chanting Allahu Akbar.
She spouts 'wh**es the whole lot of you', 'get the f*** out of here you f***ing paedophile' and 'ugly c***'.
Police eventually arrived to detain Haque and escorted her to the nearby Suan Prung Psychiatric Hospital to sober up before being assessed by doctors.
The first thing we did was take her to the hospital to rest. When she is sober the doctors will check her psychological state.'
Officers said Haque had also been seen stumbling around while drunk the night before.
"The correct procedure is for psychological reports to be produced which will help us when considering any charges or fines," said the police officer.
'We are informing her embassy and acquaintances in Thailand." he added.
