Job Context

• Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) a nonprofit organization in Bangladesh established on 9 February 1958 by Hazrat Khan BahdurAhsanullah (R.), an eminent educationist, social reformer and spiritual leader with the motto of delivering `Divine and Humanitarian Services` for improving the quality of life of the disadvantaged poor and socially excluded people. DAM enjoysConsultative Status with UN ECOSOC and Operational Relations with UNESCO. Its development programmes aims at improving living conditions of the disadvantaged people. The Mission facilitates increased access for the deprived people and communities to services. In doing so, DAM could expand its world of work in partnership with communities, government, NGOs, and corporate entities both at national and international level. DAM`s current diversified works encompassesmulti-dimensional field programs and self-governing institutions in education, health and economies development sectors in Bangladesh.

• Dhaka Ahsania Mission has been implementing a 2 years` project entitled "Promote Quality Education (PQE) in the Mainstream Government Primary Schools",and "Adolescent and Youth as an Agent of Change to Promote a Progressive Society (A&Y Development)"in Dhaka City by the financial support of Educo. It invites applications for the following positions for immediate appointment.

• Name of Project: Adolescent and Youth as an Agent of Change to Promote a Progressive Society (A&Y Development)

• Employment Status: Contractual (Upto-December 2022)

• Job Location: DAM Head Office, Dhaka. Frequent field visit will be required.

Educational Requirements

• Minimum Master's degree from any reputed University.

• Skills Required: communication and interpersonal skill.

Experience Requirements: 3 to 5 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• Masters in Social Science from any reputed University, any advance training/diploma will be added advantage. 3-5 years of progressive experience at development organization particularly management of Adolescent Development Program including Technical & Vocational Education, Life-skill Development Program. As a key member of the project team, the Technical Officerwill work under the guidance of Program Coordinator. Frequently field visit will be required. Candidate should be fluent in English & Bangla both written & oral. He/She should have Knowledge on safeguarding issues particularly on child protection. Vast knowledge on facilitation, mentoring & supervision, coordination and linkage building with formal & non-formal sector, reporting & documentation will be added value for recruitment.

• Age Limit: 35 Yrs

Salary: BDT40,000 with other benefits will pay as per project provision and organizational policy.
