Position: Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Job Context

Job Responsibilities

• Role Purpose:
• Responsible for providing financial insights to help deliver operational and strategic goals of the Bangladesh cluster in line with Group strategy.
• Support implementation of key projects and initiatives of the cluster business strategy and Provide financial leadership on investment evaluation and mobilization.
• Responsible for review of product costing and inventory valuation.
• Manage planning, budgeting and monthly rolling forecast processes for the cluster.
• The role will be primarily accountable for the followings:
• Review the costing month end activities to ensure accuracy of profitability and stock.
• Preparation of detail actual monthly result commentary by pointing out the reasons of differences from monthly forecast, plan and last year.
• Preparation and submission of flash template.
• Calculate and circulation of DSO-DPO-DIO.
• Preparation and submission of group supplementary pack.
• Prepare monthly bottom up P&L and cash forecast and submission to group.
• Preparation of detailed yearly planning exercise based on the input from operational departments and group steers. Submission of the same in the format provided by the group.
• Coordinate with procurement and manufacturing team to maximize savings projects and accurate calculation of savings number.
• Prepare monthly business review presentation based on the inputs from operational departments.
• Prepare shadow costing to ensure the reasonableness of cost of items to be procured.
• Prepare management information requested on regular/one off basis.
• Monitoring expense booking into SAP and comparing with Plan/Forecast and provide feedback to the next levels for better understanding and further decision making of cost manage/control.
• Prepare financial and business-related analysis and research such as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.
• Provide insights to drive raw material & conversion cost optimization (cost control, cost avoidance), support driving pricing initiatives with cost insight, manufacturing process reengineering and factory variance analysis (including direction for mitigation).
• Responsible for reviewing the product costs in SAP, Inventory valuation and capitalization of variances.
• Responsible for reviewing product / process costs - to commercial & operations team to support pricing / improve cost efficiencies.
• Proactively partner with the Supply Chain and Operations area to provide financial expertise (e.g. insights on actual performance) to enable strategic planning and business decision-making across procurement, manufacturing efficiencies, conversion cost management, working capital management (focusing on DSO improvement, optimal inventory and highest supplier terms); required to achieve operating and financial objectives.

Educational Requirements: Business graduate from any reputed university or Chartered Accountant.

Experience Requirements: 6 to 7 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• 6 to 7 years minimum of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis.
• Accounting & Finance knowledge.
• Manufacturing costing understanding.
• Very good communications skills (both oral and written).
• A very good level of English proficiency (both oral and written).
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
• Analytical & planning skills.
• MNC experience.

• Team working capability and experience working across geographical and cultural boundaries.
