Qualifications for the post of Professor: Ph.D. with First Class/ CGPA 3:00 in Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in relevant discipline with minimum 11 years of teaching or 14 years of service, of which in both cases, at least 8 years of active teaching as Assistant Professor and/or above (of which 3 years must be as Associate Professor). All candidates must have at least 10 publications in peer reviewed journals (e.g. Scopus and/or ISI indexed). For engineering departments i.e. CE, CSE and EEE, the candidates must have at least 5 publications as Associate Professor in peer reviewed journals, in which at least three must be as first author (e.g. Scopus and/or ISI indexed).
Qualifications for the post of Associate Professor: Ph.D. with First Class/ CGPA 3:00 in Bachelor's degree and Master's degree in a relevant discipline with 7 years of teaching or 9 year of service experience, of which in both cases, at least 5 years of active teaching experience as Assistant Professor. All candidates must have at least 5 publications in peer reviewed journals (e.g. Scopus and/or ISI indexed). For departments of CSE, CE & EEE, at least 3 of the publications must be as first author (e.g. Scopus and/or ISI indexed).
Qualifications for the post of Assistant Professor: (a) Ph.D. in relevant field with First Class/CGPA 3.00 in Bachelor's and Master's degree for the departments of Pharmacy and BS&H; Ph.D. in relevant field with First Class/CGPA 3.00 in Master's degree for the departments BA, English and L&HR; and Ph.D. with First Class/CGPA 3:00 in Bachelor's degree for the departments of Architecture, CE, CSE and EEE; or (b) First Class in Bachelor's and Master's degree (CGPA 3.00 for Arch, BA, English, L&HR and CGPA 3.5 for BS&H, Pharmacy, CE, CSE, EEE) in relevant discipline. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience or 5/6 years of professional experience or a combination of both with at least 1 year of teaching experience and at least 1 publication in a peer reviewed journal (e.g. Scopus and/or ISI indexed).
Qualifications for the post of Lecturer: (i) The minimum qualification for the post of Lecturer for the departments of CSE, CE and EEE is Master's degree; however candidates having a minimum of CGPA-3.75 or a First Class B.Sc. Engineering degree or equivalent degree in relevant discipline from recognized university/institution may apply for consideration. (ii) Department of Architecture: The candidate must have CGPA 3.00 or First class in B. Arch. degree or equivalent degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university /institution. (iii) Other Departments: 1st Class in both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in relevant discipline (CGPA 3.5 for BS&H, Pharmacy; CGPA 3:00 for the departments of BA, English, L&HR).
Ph.D. holders from reputed university and candidates with excellent publication records will get preference. Candidates must have no third class in any public examination.
