Job Context
Position Overview: The IT Associate is responsible Install, maintain and configure hardware and software systems according to organization`s policies. Troubleshoot and repair network, hardware, and software components. Provide technical support to servers, networks, telephones, and other computing platforms and their users. The position will work on the guidance of the Officer, IT and will report to Manager, Administration.
Job Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support and maintenance of IT, including network and wireless infrastructure, laptops, desktops, printers, scanner, and database.

Resolve problems and issues in a professional manner and engage with staff and stakeholders to identify additional needs

Assist with vendor relations, procurement, installation, and implementation of information as appropriate

Manage IT inventory and repair of IT devices including desktops/Chromebooks/laptops, iPads, interactive whiteboards, projectors, copiers, printers, etc.

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration when required.

Provide instant support to fix problem on MS word, excel, PowerPoint, MS teams, outlook.

Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.

Assist to network design, organize event and written test for interviews.

Assist to identify solutions to software and hardware issues.

Follow up with vendor ensuring warranty, product delivery, repair etc.

In working with staff, the IT Associate will assess and respond to their IT needs as well as provide maintenance and support for office technology and audio-visual systems throughout the organization.

Visit field offices ensuring technical support when and where require

Perform any other duties delegated by management staff.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree or certification in an appropriate field (information technology, computer science, systems management, or related discipline).
Experience Requirements: At least 2 year(s)
Additional Requirements
-
Two years of proven work experience as a technical support engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role.

Vast knowledge on Office 365, Active directory and networking systems.

Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/iOS environments.

Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.

Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
Skills & Competencies Required:

Competency with administrative and instructional applications of technology, i.e. Office Suite and Microsoft/Google Apps for Office/Education

Current and in-depth knowledge of network architecture, including wireless networks

Knowledge of organizational database management systems

Able to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks

Able to resolve IT problems efficiently and sensitively

Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal English; able to work collaboratively with a team
