Home quarantined man runs out naked in India, bites elderly woman to death

A 34-year-old man in India, who was in home quarantine has run out of his house naked and killed a 90-year-old woman by biting on her throat. 

The incident took place on Friday night in Theni district of India's Tamil Nadu when the man ran out of his home naked and bit the throat of Natchiammal who was sleeping outside her home, reports Times of India. 

Hearing the woman's cry, locals came to the spot and caught the man. He was later handed over to police.

The woman was rushed to Theni Government Hospital, where she died on Saturday.

According to local police, the man returned from Sri Lanka only a week ago and was mentally disturbed after being home quarantined for some days.
