2nd case of coronavirus confirmed in Canada

The second case of coronavirus has been confirmed in Ontario, Canada, according to the province's top doctor.

In a statement issued early Monday, Ontario's Chief Medical Officer Dr David Williams said the wife of the province's first case of coronavirus has also tested positive for the virus.

"Since arriving in Toronto with her husband, this individual has been in self-isolation," the statement says.

On Saturday, Canada declared that Toronto Public Health has received notification of the first presumptive confirmed case of coronavirus in a resident who recently returned from Wuhan.

"The individual is stable and is hospitalized", the government said in a statement.
