Author Neil Gaiman has revealed that the Netflix adaptation of "The Sandman" will be slightly different than his comic book version.
In a discussion on the DC Fandome panel, the British writer talked about the status of the hotly anticipated series.
Due to the pandemic, the pre-production of the series was on pause for a few months.
"Right now as the universal pause button is starting to come off, we're starting to cast again," Gaiman said. "I'm getting these inspiring and wonderful emails with production designs with places that I'd only ever seen in the comics before, now being rendered in 3D, and I'm being asked to comment on it. That's amazing."
The Sandman is a prominent comic book series published by DC Comics.
