Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" is getting a rewrite for Disney's latest movie 'Jungle Cruise.'
The song which was released in 1992 is a favourite among the metal music fans.
Speaking in a new interview, the band's drummer Lars Ulrich discussed transforming the 1992 track into an orchestral piece for Disney's "Jungle Cruise".
Jungle Cruise is a much-hyped upcoming Disney feature. It stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. He'd be accompanied by Emily Blunt and comedian Jack Whitehall.
The metal band would collaborate with eight-time Oscar nominee James Newton Howard.
"We wrote the song, but he took the song and rearranged it to fit something specific in the film — and obviously, I'm not going to give any of that away — but we then kind of took on his version of it. I think that's all that should be said," Ulrich revealed about the collaboration.
Ulrich also enjoys being able to work with The Rock. More so, considering Dwayne Johnson has provided them with musical input as well.
"Obviously, The Rock has been very supportive. Dwayne has been very supportive, and it's a really cool thing to be a part of. I can't wait for everybody to see it." The drummer added.
