Lord of the Rings: Gollum game teaser depicts the horrors of Mordor
Lord of The Rings: Gollum won’t be featuring the slashing through hordes of Orcs and Trolls
After consistent success with their gaming ventures, the Lord of the Rings series is launching another game. However, it's not quite like the Middle-Earth series.
Any LOTR fan would pick up on that just from the title. Users will be stepping into the shoes of Stoor Hobbit blinded by the desire for the one ring.

Unlike the previous games from the franchise, Lord of The Rings: Gollum won't be featuring the slashing through hordes of Orcs and Trolls.
In a recent interview with IGN, game designer Martin Wilkes revealed few major details about the game.
"The game mixes stealth with vertical climbing parkour. If you want a reference you might think of it as similar to Prince of Persia," said Wilkes.
He added to his statement saying, "It is mostly a non-combat game, but Gollum will be able to stealthily take out enemies. However, this will not be easy and always come with big risks. We want players to carefully weigh these encounters. After all, Gollum's strengths lie in cunning not combat."
His statements affirmed the fact that the game will be a more innovative take on the middle-earth lore.
While elaborating on the gaming dynamics Wilkes also revealed that the users would be forced to depend on "Special allies". It means we may be introduced to more characters from the books.
The game also has a strong narrative stand, keeping the players more engaged as every action will have consequences.
"Also, the decisions you make affect the way the game feels. You always either play as Sméagol or as Gollum as the 'dominant' persona and that can influence animations, soundscapes, certain gameplay situations, and in-game dialogue." Wilkes revealed to IGN.
The game being strictly based on the books and with a character that is generally portrayed as a villain, it's expected to be a new way forward for the LOTR gaming franchise.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum developed and published by Daedalic Entertainment is expected to release in 2021. It's already creating massive hype post its teaser trailer.
