Golden Globes announces date for 2021 ceremony amid pandemic
The ceremony hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, will be held on Feb 28, 2021

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced dates for the 78th annual Golden Globes ceremony.
The ceremony hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, will be held on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021 — pushed back almost two months from its annual early January date due to uncertainties from the coronavirus pandemic.
Similarly, other major award shows have pushed their dates back and made some changes to their criteria taking the pandemic into account. Oscar will now be held on April 25th.
The major change in criteria has been regarding movie platforms. As films this year haven't been able to release in any theaters, so even streaming movies will be allowed for consideration. However, that is if they were intended for theatrical release.
