Zee5 streaming service on Saturday released the trailer for the much-hyped Bangladeshi thriller web series "Contract".

It is based on one of the most popular thriller novels written by Bangladesh's Mohammad Nazim Uddin. The book is also the first instalment of the 'Beg-Bastard' series.

The trailer was released on the official Facebook page of Zee5.

The mini-series will star prominent faces of the Bangladesh media industry including Arifin Shuvoo, Shyamol Mawla, Chanchal Chowdhury, Tarik Anam Khan, Zakia Bari Momo, Iresh Zaker and Rafiath Rashid Mithila.

Contract follows the rivalry between a contract killer known as Bastard and homicide investigator Jeffery Beg. Notorious crime lord Black Ronju becomes a key piece in their saga.

The series cast Chanchal Chowdhury as Black Ronju, Arifin Shuvoo as Bastard, Shyamal Mawla as Beg, Mithila as a politician named Rumana and Zakia Bari Momo as Mina.

Directed by Tanim Noor and Krishnendu Chattopadhyay, the thriller will hit the screen on 18 March.
