The Cinemaking International Film festival started on December 24 and ended on the evening of December 26.
CIFF founder and Festival Director Monjurul Islam Megh informed that 150 films from 54 countries were selected for the competition in 11 categories in this time, 27 films were from Bangladesh.
Best International Film award went to "The Single Tumbler" from Sri Lanka.
Best Asian Film award went to "Girl and the Sea" directed by Azizzhan Zairov, Mukhamed Mamyrbekov from Kazakhstan, Best Asian director to Apurba Kishor Bir for "Antardhwani" from India, Best European Film to "I'Father", directed by Mark Norfolk from Kosovo, Best European Director to Gultekin Bayir for "Bir Denizcinin Dogum Gunu" from Turkey, Best International Actor to Yashpal Sharma for acting in the "Mooso the Mouse", Best International Actress Swapna Pati for acting in the "Antardhwani" from India.
The award for Best Original Score was grabbed by "The Final Code" from Italy, Best Cinematography to "Boluomi" from Taiwan and Best Screenplay to "Colorless Dreams" from Uzbekistan.
The Best Bangladeshi Full-length film "A biography of Nazrul" directed by Ferdous Khan won an award.
The best international mobile film "Endless Walk" directed by Yan Paing Htum from Myanmar. Best Bangladeshi mobile film "Mother" directed by Anondo Khaled.
Best International Short film was awarded to "The Fiber", directed Nubelia Leyva Ferrer, Sorangel Solano Clever from Cuba. "Separation" directed by Aparajita Sangita was awarded Best Bangladeshi short film.
Best International Documentary was awarded to "A Gift from God" directed by Jorgen Lorentzen, Nafise Ozkal Lorentzen from Norway and Best International Kids Filmmaker went to Sandro Kintsureshvili for "Take It" from Georgia.
In addition, 117 Special Mention Certificates were given in 11 different categories, said Monjurul Islam Megh.
