Popular actor Afran Nisho and Mehazabien are set to appear in the special romantic drama "Maroon" which will be screened on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Directed by Mahmudur Rahman Himi, the drama was penned down by actor Afran Nisho, read a press release.

The story of the drama progressed as Nisho and Mehazabien fell in love inside a maroon bus.

About the drama, Director Mahmudur Rahman said "Maroon is the colour of love. The drama highlighted on a love story that emerged at the back seat of the bus. The entire drama was shot inside a bus. It felt great to adapt Nisho Bhai's story into a drama and I hope the audience will love it."

Besides, Afran Nisho who was excited to witness his story on the small screen said "I am really looking forward to audiences' reaction to my story. Hopefully, the audience will see something new in this drama."

Apart from Afran Nisho and Mehazabein, the drama also features actors such as Farhad Limon, Ratna Khan, Nikul Kumar Biswas, Tamjid Tanmay and Nipun Chowdhury.

The drama "Maroon" will be aired on the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr at 7:50 pm on Banglavision television. The drama will also be broadcasted simultaneously on Visual Scene Entertainment's YouTube channel.
