'Chirkut' releases first of their anniversary songs
“Banglar Kotha” is a song about Bangladesh and Chirkut
Popular band 'Chirkut' is celebrating their 18th year anniversary this year. At the beginning of 2020, they announced that they would release a total of 18 songs this year. They released the first song of that list on Saturday. The new track "Banglar Kotha" is written, composed and sung by the band's lead vocal Sharmin Sultana Shumi.
Shumi confirmed The Business Standard that two more songs are on the effing.
"We made a promise to our fans at the beginning of the year that we would release 18 songs this year. We have released one and two more songs are on the pipeline. We are preparing for the release."
"Banglar Kotha" is a song about Bangladesh and Chirkut recorded in a very short time.

"For a long time we wanted to create a song on Bangladesh, but every time something or the other came up and we could not complete. This time, we finished the song within a very short time.
"Banglar Kotha was written and recorded five months ago. The shooting for the music video was completed last month"
