4 Bangladeshi films to be screened in Dallas
Eight short and feature films from Bangladesh and India will be screened there
The 4th Bengali Film festival, organised Srijonerhut, will be held from August 2 to 4 at Angelika Film Center in Dallas.
Eight short and feature films from Bangladesh and India will be screened there.
Path breaking and unconventional Bangladeshi films like - Nasiruddin Yousuff’s “Alpha”, Abdullah Mohammad Saad’s “Live from Dhaka”, Sohel Rana’s “Tiyer Goppo”, and SM Kamrul Ahsan Lenin’s “Ghraan” are expected to grab audience’s attention in the fest.
West Bengal movies - “Ahare”, “Furniture”, “Pupa” and “Prosaroni” will also be screened.
Srijonerhut, the organizer of the festival, wants to promote cultural diversity through the modes of cinema.
It wants to create a platform to highlight the Bengali talent, stories, and themes through the 3 day celebration of the festival.
