Dhaka International Trade Fair at Purbachal from next year: Tipu

The Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) will be held at its permanent ground in Purbachal from next year.

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi made the disclosure at the concluding ceremony of the 25th DITF at Agargaon in the city on Monday, said a release here.

The minister said the fair will be held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre at sector-4 of Purbachal.

However, the period of the ongoing Dhaka International Trade Fair was extended by two more days and now it will continue till February 6, added the release.

Member of parliamentary standing committee on Commerce Selim Altaf George, Commerce Secretary Md Zafar Uddin, Export Promotion Bureau Vice Chairman Fatima Yesmin and FBCCI Senior Vice President Md Siddikur ahman, among other, spoke on the occasion.
