Bangladeshi manufacturers take part in Paris expo
Bangladesh had a national pavilion at Texworld
A total of 22 Bangladeshi apparel, fabric, and leather manufacturers participated in the four-day trade fair ending today in Paris.
Combined with Apparel Sourcing and Leather world, a total of 1,315 exhibitors participated in the February edition, 2020.
The fair recorded around 13,500 visitors from all over the world. Visitors and buyers from UK, France, Turkey, Spain, Italy and Germany visited the fair in large number.
Bangladesh had a national pavilion at Texworld – Apparel Sourcing with national pavilions from Pakistan, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, India and Turkey.
Bangladeshi stands were seen busy with trade enquiries and buyers from USA, UK, Turkey, Germany, France and other European and Central Asian countries.
In accurately interpreting the major market trends, Texworld Paris was able to attract some high-caliber professionals who thronged the aisles this year once again.
Two fashion shows of Bangladesh were held on Wednesday where the first show displayed products of Bangladeshi exhibitors and second show displayed collection of Zaber and Zubair.
The Export Promotion Bureau had a stand to facilitate the Bangladeshi exhibitor. Dilara Begum, commercial counselor of Bangladesh to France was also present at the stand to offer any assistance to the Bangladeshi exhibitors.
