Indices witness mixed performance over selling pressure
Out of the 331 issues traded during the same time frame, 122 company's share prices advanced, 119 declined and 90 remained unchanged
Indices of the both stock exchanges witnessed mixed performance amid investors selling pressure in the first half and one-hour of today's trading session.
Dhaka Stock Exchange's (DSE) main index DSEX fell by 4.05 points or 0.08 percent to 4,900 till 11:30am.
However, the benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) gainned 4.85 points to 14,072.
However, turnover on another major indicator on the DSE trading floor increased by 10 percent to Tk398.22crore during the session.
Moreover, the Shariah-based DSES index gained 2.03 points to 1,119 while the blue-chip index DS30 fell 3.77 points to 1,707.
