DSEX inch up as insurance shares soar
Beximco Limited secured the apex position in the turnover chart at the DSE.
DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), inched up as most of the insurance companies' share price soar in the first trading hour on Tuesday.
During the period, 11 insurance companies' share traded at an above 9% price hike, where Rupali Life and Sunlife Insurance touched the circuit breaker upper limit.
DSEX, the key index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose by 0.27% or 15 points to 5,526 till 11:00 am

DSE turnover rose by 14% to Tk614.29 crore in the first trading hour.
During this period, 134 companies' share price advanced, while 132 companies' share price declined and 73 issues' price remained unchanged during the session at the DSE.

The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) lost 23 points to 15,929 till 11:00 am.
