DSEX crosses 5,000-mark after 2 months
In this session, DSE main index, DSEX rose by 30.46 points or 0.61 percent to 5,005
DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), crossed 5,000 points in the first one-and-half hour of trading session on Sunday.
The key index of DSE has crossed this mark after two months.
However, turnover of the DSE trading floor fell 3 percent to Tk276.32 crore during the period till 11:30 am.
In this session, DSE main index DSEX rose by 30.46 points or 0.61 percent to 5,005.
The benchmark index CASPI at the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) gain 68 points to 14,330.
Moreover, DSE shariah index DSES gain 9.84 points to 1,145 and blue-chip index DS30 rose 13.27 points to 1,740.
Following the investors movement 139 companies share price rose, while 109 issues fell and 95 remain unchanged during the session at the DSE.
