Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) has reappointed its previous Chief Regulatory Officer (CRO), Mohammad Shamsur Rahman, for another three years.
Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has approved the re-appointment and the Board of Directors has decided to extend his tenure for three more years, said a press release.
Shamsur Rahman started his career with CSE as DGM and Head of the Corporate Finance Department in the year 2011. Later he had been the Acting Chief Regulatory Officer from February, 2016, until he was appointed the Chief Regulatory Officer in 2017.
He is also a fellow member of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB).
He completed his graduation and post-graduation from University of Dhaka. Before joining CSE Shamsur Rahman worked with BRAC International as the Head of Internal Audit. He also worked as an Assistant Professor of Dhaka City College.
