RMG workers block road at Malibagh for dues
A worker of the factory claimed that they have not got their salaries for the last two months

More than 200 workers of Tahsin Fashion staged a demonstration blocking road at Malibagh area in Dhaka demanding payment of their due salaries today.
Confirming to the matter to The Business Standard, officer-in-charge of Hatirjheel Police Station Abdur Rashid said, "The garment workers protested in front of Abul Hotel from 8am to 12pm."
A worker of the factory claimed that they have not got their salaries for the last two months.
He said, authorities wanted to pay Tk 2,000 and Tk 1,000 to each of the operator and helper respectively. We denied to accept it because an operator used to get Tk 12,000 per month while a helper get Tk 7,000.
If the they do not give our due wages within April 28, we will protest again, the worker added.
