To ensure clear vision for its workers, Beximco Apparel Limited held an eye screening camp at the Beximco Industrial Park in Gazipur on Monday.

Screening of eyes of the workers and other officials of the factory was done at the camp and eyeglasses were provided to those who need them.

Beximco Apparel Ltd, one of the largest integrated textile production businesses in Asia, in partnership with VisionSpring, launched the campaign.

VisionSpring is the international social enterprise accelerating the uptake of affordable eyewear among people in emerging and frontier markets.

Through its Clear Vision Workplace (CVW) program, with support from the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and leading global brands, VisionSpring brings vision screening teams and eyeglasses to workers in factories.

A team of VisionSpring dignitaries, including its Chairman Reade Fahs, Founder Jordan Kassalow, CEO Ella Gudwin, AND Board member Judith Aidoo-Saltus, among others, visited the camp.
