Shunno to Perform live at IHSB Business Carnival
The IHSB Business Club is preparing to host the highly anticipated IHSB Business Carnival (IBC) 2024 at the International Hope School Bangladesh (IHSB) main campus in Uttara, Dhaka.
This event aims to foster young business minds, drawing participation from over 600 students representing more than 50 schools across Dhaka. The IBC provides a unique platform for students to showcase their entrepreneurial skills and network with like-minded peers, helping them build connections that will benefit their future careers.
The carnival will feature three critical competitions to challenge participants' creativity, business acumen, and problem-solving abilities. In "Pitch Perfect," students will present innovative business ideas that are evaluated on feasibility, creativity, and market potential. "Friedman's Fallacy" will focus on economic theories and their practical applications, encouraging participants to analyse real-world economic issues and propose viable solutions. Meanwhile, "Marketing Mania 2.0" is a revamped marketing competition that tasks students with creating and pitching compelling marketing campaigns, demonstrating their grasp of market dynamics and consumer behaviour.
This year's IBC holds special significance in the wake of the historic student movement in Bangladesh, which unfolded in July and August. Students nationwide rallied for educational reforms and political accountability, making headlines with their unified call for change. During the movement, the song "Shono Mohajon" by the popular band Shunno became a source of motivation and inspiration for many. In a thrilling announcement, Shunno has confirmed that they will perform live at the IBC 2024, marking their first performance in Bangladesh since the movement. The band announced a video message, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
The IHSB Business Carnival 2024 promises to be a remarkable platform for aspiring business leaders, combining competition, networking, and a memorable live performance. Registration for the event is open until October 25th, 2024, offering students the chance to participate in this dynamic and inspiring event.
