Southeast Bank donates Tk10 lakh for CMP’s scholarship fund

The Southeast Bank Ltd has contributed with Tk10 lakh for a fund of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) titled the "Chattogram Metropolitan Police Britti Tohbil".

The fund provides scholarships to the meritorious children of police members of CMP, so that they can continue their education with ease.

The sum was officially handed over on February 25 at the headquarters of the metropolitan police in Chattogram city as a part of the bank's corporate social responsibility, said a press release.

The bank's Managing Director M Kamal Hossain handed over the cheque to Police Commissioner Md Mahabubor Rahman.

Anwar Uddin, deputy managing director of Southeast Bank Limited and other high officials of Chattogram Metropolitan Police and Southeast Bank were also present at the ceremony. The scholarship will be helpful for meritorious students of Chattogram Metropolitan Police members for continue their education.
