Sarder Akhter Hamed promoted to Bank Asia DMD

Sarder Akhter Hamed has recently been promoted to the post of deputy managing director of Bank Asia Ltd.
Prior to this new role, he was a senior executive vice president of the bank.
Hamed has multifarious experiences in the fields of MSME, retail, agriculture, and channel banking operation, read a press release.
At Bank Asia, one of his most notable contributions is spearheading a strategic partnership with the general post office. He also initiated a micro merchant application to provide the customers with better services.
Hamed completed his Master's degree in Finance from the University of Dhaka.
He started his career with British American Tobacco Bangladesh in 1995. Later, he moved to Brac bank limited in 2005. He also worked as the head of retail banking at the United Commercial Bank Limited before joining the Bank Asia.
