Prime Bank to receive fintech service from AGAM International

To introduce digital lending facility for low-income group, Prime Bank Limited, a leading private commercial bank in the country, announced a partnership with AGAM International, a fast growing UK-based fintech platform.

The move asserts the bank's ongoing drive for digital transformation, said a media statement issued on Saturday.

The aim of the partnership is to create a digital lending platform for the low-income community of Bangladesh. Both the parties also agreed to work together in other areas of collaboration.

Commenting on the issue, Shabnam Nida Wazed, founder and chief executive officer of AGAM International, said, "Our unique innovation is designed to reach out to every underserved individual and allow them access to banking services. We aim to enhance clients' experience in every aspect of financial interactions."

ANM Mahfuz, deputy managing director and head of consumer banking of Prime Bank, said, "We are excited to partner with AGAM International, an innovative technology and service provider. As the leader in digital innovation, we have the mission to continuously deploy game-changing solutions to ensure better service to our customers and facilitate financial inclusion by taking financial services to the unbanked population."
