Prime Bank Limited is providing 5% cashback to its credit card customers on purchase of grocery and other items during Ramadan.

The bank has forged partnership with the leading online superstores and ecommerce outlets to help people maintain social distancing during countrywide lockdown triggered by coronavirus outbreak, says a press release by the bank.

Prime Bank Visa and Mastercard credit cardholders will enjoy the cashback for online purchase from Meenaclick, Swapno, Chaldal, Pathao Food and Priyoshop till May 22, 2020.

The customers will get a maximum cashback of BDT 300 per transaction and a maximum of BDT 1,000 at each of the partner's online outlet. The cashback amount will be disbursed after completion of the campaign.

On the cashback offer, Prime Bank's Head of Consumer Banking ANM Mahfuz said: "People are now frequently using online platforms to purchase their daily essentials to maintain social distancing amid coronavirus pandemic. We, at Prime Bank, are also encouraging our customers to utilize alternative banking channels from the comfort of their home on 24/7 basis to ensure their safety and well-being."

He added: "We believe our partnership with the leading superstores and ecommerce partners will help the customers save money for online purchase of groceries and other essentials at this difficult time."
