Janata Bank celebrates Bangabandhu’s 100th birth anniversary

On the occasion of celebrating Sheikh Mujibur Rahma's 100th birth anniversary Md. Abdus Salam Azad, CEO & MD of Janata Bank Limited placed a floral wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu on Wednesday.

Md. Abdul Jabber and Md. Jashim Uddin DMDs of the bank and High Officials, Officers Association, CBA Leaders and Employees of the bank were also present on the spot, reads a press release.

Later, a prayer, milad mahfil and discussion meeting were held at the corporate branch of the bank in Dhanmondi in the presence of MD and CEO seeking peace of Bangabandhu's soul. Janata Bank Limited has undertaken various social and cultural programs for 10 days across the country on the occasion of the 100th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation.
