A memmorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Grameenphone Limited and Janata Bank Limited on Sunday for the use of telecommunication, SMS and internet services.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Janata Bank CEO and Managing Director Md Abdus Salam Azad at the bank's head office, said a press release.

Amal Chandra Sarkar, DGM, Estate Department of the bank and Nashar Yusuf, director, Grameenphone signed on behalf of their respective organisations.

Grameenphone Chief Business Officer Kazi Mahbub Hasan, Janata Bank DMDs Mohammad Ismail Hossain and Mohammad Zikrul Haque, CFO AKM Shariat Ullah, Company Affairs Department GM Hossain Yahya Chowdhury, Treasury and Foreign Trade Department GM Md Enamul Haque along senior executives from both the organisations were present at the occasion.
