BRAC Bank Limited has introduced a new retail deposit product, 'Mukti Account', for those who hold a reservation on interest from their transaction accounts.

Mukti account holders can waive their account maintenance fee by maintaining an average half-yearly balance of Tk100,000. The average balance will also enable customers to get a debit card for free.

The new Mukti Accounts can be opened with a minimum account balance of 5,000 taka outside Dhaka.

The customers will also enjoy 'no intercity charges' for their fund transfer and they can transfer money by using BRAC Bank's mobile banking app 'Astha'.
