The 666th board meeting of Agrani Bank Ltd was held yesterday through a video conference. The bank's Chairman Dr Zaid Bakht and Directors Mahmuda Begum, Kashem Humayan, Dr Md Foroz Ali, KMN Manjurul Hoque Labloo, Khondoker Fazle Rashid and Bangladesh Bank Observer Kazi Saidur Rahman attended the meeting.
Agrani Bank Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Shams-ul-Islam, Deputy Managing Directors Md Anisur Rahman, Md Rafiqul Islam and Niazm Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury, as well as, Company Secretary Khandaker Sajedul Haque also joined the meeting virtually.

Meanwhile, Agrani Bank directors, officers and other workers have prayed for peace for the departed souls of senior ruling party leaders – former health minister Mohammad Nasim and former state minister for religious affairs Advocate Sheikh Md Abdullah. The bank authorities have also expressed condolences for the grieving families.
It is notable that Advocate Sheikh Abdullah was a director at Agrani Bank from 1996 to 2001.
A dua mahfil has also been held at the headquarters of the bank to offer prayers for the two fallen leaders.
