2nd AGM of Community Bank Bangladesh ltd held

The second annual general meeting (AGM) of Community Bank Bangladesh Limited was held virtually on Wednesday at the police headquarters in the capital.

During the AGM, the Bank approved its annual report, audited reports and accounts for the year 2020 and took important administrative decisions for its smooth functioning, said a press release issued by Community Bank.

Dr Benazir Ahmed, Inspector General of Police and Chairman, Community Bank Bangladesh Limited; members of the Board of Directors of the Bank Dr Md. Moinur Rahman Chowdhury, Additional IG (Administration and Operations) Bangladesh Police; Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun, Additional IG, Director General (DG) of Rapid Action Battalion; Abu Hasan Muhammad Tarique, Deputy Inspector General (HR) of Bangladesh Police; Habibur Rahman, DIG-Dhaka Range, Bangladesh Police; Shoeb Reaz Alam, Additional DIG (Development-Revenue-1), Bangladesh Police; Md Ferdoush Ali Chowdhury, AIG (Welfare Trust), Bangladesh Police; Independent Directors Masud Khan, Kazi Masihur Rahman, Abdullah Al Mahmud and Masihul Huq Chowdhury, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the bank were present in the meeting.

Commenting of the event, Dr Benazir Ahmed said "Community Bank is a bank for people from all walks of life, not only for the members of Bangladesh Police."

At that time, he instructed the bankers to ensure ease of banking for customers by offering innovative banking solutions and diversified service delivery channels.
