The civil aviation authority of Singapore (CAAS) has announced a new set of rules and restrictions for travelers planning to visit the country.

However, a health declaration of having no cough, no fever, no Covid symptom, like: runny nose, short breath, etc is required.
The Covid-19 test of these people will be conducted in Singapore, and the passengers will have to bear the hotel cost of SGD 2200 for isolation.
It was also mentioned that the passengers cannot be received by anyone at the Changi airport.
According to the new visa rules, no short term or tourist visa will be issued except for the visa on medical grounds certified by respective health ministries.
Students and work or long term visit pass holders would need to obtain permission from relevant ministries before purchasing ticket.
Citizens or PR holders are free to enter the country as usual but transit passengers would need to maintain the rules of not leaving Changi airport and must have onward confirmed tickets.
