Non-scheduled Biman flights to Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam for return ticketholders
Passengers must show a Covid-negative certificate to board the flights
Biman Bangladesh Airlines will operate non-scheduled flights for passengers having return tickets for a period between March 16 and April 10 to Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam.
The national flag carrier issued a press release regarding the return flights on Sunday.
Airlines operate flights according to schedules drawn up to cover several months or even years at a time. For non-scheduled flights, airlines have to pay a higher fee to the airport authorities. The flights to Saudi Arabia will be non-scheduled flights.
For the non-scheduled return flights to Saudi Arabia, passengers have been requested to contact the Biman sales office with their previous tickets, passports and permissions from Saudi Arabia through the specified links and apps.
Flights to Jeddah
A non-scheduled flight will be operated to Jeddah on September 30 for passengers with confirmed return tickets between March 22 and 24. Passengers with return tickets for those days have been asked to contact the Biman sales counter on September 28.
Passengers with return tickets between March 25 and 28 will have to contact the Biman counter on September 29 while the flight will be operated on October 1.
Those with tickets from March 29 to 31 will have to contact Biman on September 30 and their flight will be on October 4.
Passengers with return tickets for April 1 to 4 have been asked to contact the Biman on October 1. The flight will be run on October 5.
Those with return tickets between April 5 and 8 should contact Biman on October 2 and the flight is scheduled for October 6.
Flights to Riyadh
Passengers with return tickets to Riyadh between March 22 and 23 have been asked to contact the Biman sales counter on September 29, and their flight will be run on October 2.
For return ticketholders between March 24 and 25, the date for contacting the sales counter is September 30. The flight carrying them will leave for Riyadh on October 4.
Those with return tickets from March 26 to 27 have been asked to contact the sales counter on October 3. The flight will be operated on October 9.
For passengers with return tickets between March 29 and 30 have been asked to contact the sales counter on October 4, and the flight will carry them to Riyadh on October 11.
Flights to Dammam
Passengers who have return tickets between March 16 and 19 have been asked to contact the Biman sales counter on September 28, and their flight will be operated on October 1.
Those with the March 21-24 return tickets have been asked to contact the sales counter on September 30. The flight will be run on October 3.
For March 26-30 return ticket holders, the date for contacting the sales counter is October 1, and the flight operation date is October 5.
Other passengers will be gradually notified for booking as newer flights are subject to permission, said the release, requesting passengers not to crowd the counters unnecessarily.
Covid negative certificate is mandatory. Passengers must arrive in Saudi Arabia within 48 hours of getting the certificate and all passengers must have their Covid test done and start the journey from Dhaka, according to the release.
