Biman adding another brand new aircraft to its fleet

Another brand new aircraft is being added to the fleet of Biman Bangladesh Airlines on 5 March.
This is the last one of the three Dash 8-400 aircraft that the Bangladesh government has bought from Canada, under a government to government (G2G) deal.
The new aircraft –Shwetbalaka – will depart for Bangladesh from De Haviland Bombardier Aerospace of Canada and is scheduled to land at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on 5 March, read a press release of Biman.
It also stated that the aircraft will be welcomed with a water cannon salute at the Dhaka airport as part of aviation fanfare.
Earlier, three more aircrafts of the same model reached the country in recent months.
With the latest one, the number of aircrafts in the Biman fleet has risen to 21.
