Two Bangladeshis die from coronavirus in New York
Two Bangladeshis have died of coronavirus in New York, USA.
One of the deceased, aged over 60, died on Thursday night. He had comorbidity and was under treatment at a hospital in Queens.
Both of them are from Queens, reports Prothom Alo.
Another Bangladeshi lived in Woodside of Queens. Aged around 50, he worked as a taxi driver. Prothom Alo got the confirmation of his death from New York Police Department (NYPD) official Khan Shawkat.
Meanwhile, a Bangladeshi expatriate died from coronavirus at a hospital in Milan, Italy yesterday night.
Bangladesh today announced the second death from the novel coronavirus in the country. Four patients were diagnosed with the virus in the last 24 hours, increasing the total number to 24. First death of the deadly virus was reported on March 18.
