Woman, teenager test coronavirus positive in Jashore
The teenager has been suffering from diarrhoea and fever and the woman from fever and sore throat, according to the health complex sources
A woman and a teenager tested coronavirus positive in Chaugachha upazila of Jashore on Wednesday.
The teenager, 13, lives in Ward-7 Model School Para and studies in class eight. The woman, 37, lives in Ward-2 Thana Para area.
Dr Lutfunnahar, the upazila health and family planning officer, and Jahidul Islam, the upazila nirbahi officer, confirmed the matter today.
According to the Upazila Health Complex sources, four samples from Chaugachha were sent to Jashore Civil Surgeon Office on Tuesday. From there, the samples were sent to Jashore Science and Technology University. The result of the coronavirus test of the woman and the teenager came out positive this morning. Currently, they are at their homes.

Jahidul Islam said, "We have confirmed the matter. Now samples of the people who came in the contact with the patients will be sent for coronavirus test. Their houses will be under lockdown."
